I got asked by my school to design an touch screen interface for their information center I just wanted some feed back from you guys I think this is my first post in here so be easy on meā¦lol j/k touch screen interface 1 here is the second |

I'm not totally sure what its for, but you have some typos and some inconsistancies with the graphics. The red circle in the purple one has different spacing then the blue on in the other purple one. If you could get a version of the school logo without a square white box that would also help. Otherwise, it's pretty nice. Thats a funky old font I haven't seen in awhile.

i like the colors and overall layout, i think it will appeal to students but were is the touch screen interface? Where would they be touching? And yes welcome to the forum hope to see more of your work.

It does not strike me as a touchscreen interface. The layour and the tiny size of text does not take into account the reality of the needs of touchscren users, you really have to think realistically about text size and readability, combined with (what should be your watchword) usability. Large swathes of text are a no-no, complicated navigation too. As has been pointed out, at the moment it does not really represent a touch screen interface. I don't know how involved your assignment is, but have you considered carrying out questionares and when you have finished designing your interface, get people to sit in front of a computer and test it to destruction - that will get you extra brownie points ;) |
