Im going to redo my entire site and bring it back better than ever... I have a draft of my intro page made, what do you think? Any suggestions on improvement are appreciated. http://www.illumindesign.net/previews/intro.jpg any ideas for a first layout would be appreciated too Endat |

I really like your logo type design. I'm not too fond of the sphere and the 3d text at the bottom though or the wall. I think your splash page would still be really strong without those elements. Personally I think it would look great with just the type logo on the faded grey background and leave the illuminate your experience flat like the rest of your type.

I revised a little and got rid of the wall & floor and kept it a lower gradient to see how it would look... I also made the orb a little more clear, as you can tell from the shadow and gamma. The 3D text has been brightened a little as well. Intro 2 Another revision I made complying more to FlackBait's suggestion of getting rid of the orb and making the text below the logo 2D. Intro 3 More feedback would be greatly appreciated. edit: I just found that these also look good inverted. What do you think? Endat |
