My Hand at Vectoring *cough*

Hi there...Heres another installment of some work I was doing a few days ago. Today I added the tiles, redid the blood, and vectored an exacto knife to go with my hand. If your at all....against blood, dont look at this picture. Its got a lot of blood, but id like to know what you guys think about it. So here.

The cut looks really fake, try really dark red for it instead of black.

I like the cartoonish hand.

That blood on the floor is awfully thin.

The perspective of the tiles is a bit off (i.e. they are at an angle).

The text is pretty crappy.

Overall I like the art but not the subject matter.

Well, I did "try" to fix the slits in the wrists. Im not going for realism as much as I am it looking semi-realistic with a cartoony feel. But here are the new wrists. Im not too bummed about the tiles, but I could change the font. I made the font in like, 10 seconds... Any other comments?

• Something about the blood just doesn't look real. It isn't really coming off the skin, it's more like it's just a red piece of skin, you know? Mainly on the fingers. The blood doesn't have any substance...

The blood on the skin and the blood on the ground are two different colors.

Blood is dark red-purple.

Other than the bad anti-aliasing on the blood dripping from the text, it's great. Very improved from your previous version...and nice pun ;).

Here is a new version... Its slightly modified, but really only in the blood coming out of the cuts. I cant seem to get the physics of blood right... I can picture it in my head, but it doesnt work right when I try to work it out in photoshop, unlike all the other parts. The text was a mistake from the start, I was just messing with inserting new fonts to use in photoshop, so I just took it out in the newest version.
