I really like this, it just looks right for the audience. The colours look good and the backgound images give it some depth. The one thing i would say is, is this for a companywith a logo or an id or is it his personal site, coz if there is a logo it always looks more professional.

Looks great to me, keep in mind this will have to fit on all resolutions.

it will be just about perfect once you get rid of the mark gibson X thing and the giant wheel in the background that's not doing anything for the design.

ChrisZorz - its designed to fit in 1024x768 resolution no one should be using anything less now. serialjunkie - unfortunately that text (the size and shape) IS the logo i have to work with. :( kranekick - the markgibson is just a watermark so the company im doing it for - doesnt rob it I'm currently adding a navigation to the right side just under it as the client wants that doing. I dont want too many more images though - it will spoil the look. Any more suggestions? Kind Regards, Mark |

MGibson if you believe that 1024 x 768 is a standard resolution, then you are sadly deluded my friend. Most users are still sitting behind their 800 x 600 or even less. As for the design. The first word that springs to mind is cheesey. The duotoned image with the pattern/repeat, I don't know, it's just so yesterday. Nothing wrong with being "not in vogue", just that you should strive towards a greater goal. I could be totally off basr here and even to myself I sound unreasonable, don't take it to heart, just chalk me up as another person who's not a fan of thi s piece. |

i like this piece it looks good, the only thing i would say is that the big woofer? or speaker in the middle sorta makes me get lost, im not sure maybe removing it will keep the focal point in the middle near the enter link?.. just a suggestion other than that it seems melow "cool" colors...

everyone has their opinions so no problem thehermit but back them up with suggestions for me please I'm cool so i dont take things to heart (I'm still very new in PS) infamous -the background is a blurred alloy wheel - and the "enter site" link will be removed. i'll get a version 2 out asap. |

2 things... The pattern...as thehermit said...old stuff... It was nice 3 years ago. The huge text in the bg looks more as a copyright text... One of those that you put on an image when you want to preview it to a customer, so that he can't rip it. I think it would actually look better if the cars would have their own colors... Imo if you put the whole image with a layer of blue on it, it looks really flat. The 3d "effect" is gone. Otherwise good :P |
