if you're talking about the two top drawings on your site then the second one (biomech) is some great pen work. i don't even know how you got such fine lines for the shading. i really like the layering you've created on the body by adding more contrast to the armor. very creative overall. i'd like to see it more finished and in color. |

wow... Those are really nice! the angel one is really big, and hard to see on my tiny laptop screen. But it looks really good, like a sketch of some game or something. I like it. That mech is really awesome too, it would be nice to see you color it. Or have a background for it. |

Sniff Aww...you guys. I should confess though, the biomech one was slightly photoshopped. The, um 'ab' area was lightened a little. The whole thing was done on an 8 x 10 piece of laser-jet paper with a ball point pen, and may I add, looks much better scaled way down from actual pixels. If your browser won't do that for you, to get the full effect, I've got no qualms with anyone saving it, and opening it in photoshop in order to see the whole thing The angel one, was a rough sketch that I did as an assignment on illustrating a color. I think the original color that it was intended to portray was white. I don't quite know why. As for why he has guns...I have no idea. I can say though that it has to do with a script that I and a friend are working on for a graphic novel. It's going to be pretty badass, and have angels in it. Therefore...badass angels...with guns, I suppose. The original is a sketch on a sheet of 10 x 10 heavy stock paper. I dunno the weight, but it's just a little less stiff than card stock. All the color was done on photoshop. Also, now that I have the framework for a digital painting style, maaaaany more will follow. Also, I am working on a colored version of the biomech pic, as well as another one from the graphic novel I mentioned above. Both are likely to be rather badass AND I have found a class that allows me to do things like the above, for CREDIT, which of course is sweet. |

that's awesome, i must say. I love the way you drew the needles on the mech. :D the way you overlayed the parts over the lightened"ab" part is brilliant. like i've said, i really wanna learn how to ink that cleanly. can i ask, how big is the picture that you drew that inked picture of the robot? what kind of paper is it on / what are the dimensions of the pic? awesome angel pic too. Great job. |
