New here as well!, something im working on.....

Hi all, this is my first time at this forum and i thought id share what ive been doing recently.

Ive never done any vector work before this is an absolute first.... I know it would probably be easier in Illustrator but im not used to it and I thought id give it ago using vector masks in PS.

Its not finished yet, just looking for any feedback! :D

Overall I like it alot, especially they eyes.. they look great.

There is still something about the shadowing on the cheeks I think, and also the lighter part of her hair, but since it's not finished yet..

Overall I think it looks nice.

I think it looks pretty good, kindof a cross between vector and normal airbrushed art. I like it :D Welcome to the boards and I cant wait to see some more of your stuff

Hey there and welcome to the forum!
I like it too, and I'm a big vector fan myself.
But you do knowtice that it's done with photoshop and not illustrator.
At least when you look at the hair, it's pretty "hard angles" on it.
Not as smooth as it would be with illustrator.
The eyes are really well done.
The shadow as star said is a bit too harsh...put the opacity on the shadow a bit lower and it will look nice too.

Can I go out with her? Is she still available? :p Very nice work, I love it.

just a question, is it traced from a photo?

like bjorn said, you gotta work ont he hair in the front. it should be smoother and curved like the rest of the pic, not straight edge-y. same with the back hair and the hair near the shoulder. other than that it's great, in fact its awesome considering this is your absolute first time. I agree, the eyes are awesome, i think the whole face is well done.
