That portal is really ugly, and why is flash being used up top? You can do that with HTML. Regardless, it isn't your site (at least i don't think so), so i'll stick to your question. The site is about R/C cars, so why don't you have fun with that? The logo could include some kind of R/C car in it, with perhaps the name on the side like advertisements on a race car. Nos. |

Thanks guys, and no, it's not my site. How would I turn the logo into the shape of an R/C truck? I have the logo ad a .psd layer all cut out, and I have tons of pictures of my truck and others, if I selesct the outline of the truck using Extensis Mask Pro Select, how can I the morph the logo, at least the Banned R/C part into the outline of the truck? |

If we're gonna tell you everything, might as well we do it for you right? Its your job anyways and you're getting paid(if you're getting paid... or credit goes to you, whatever the deal is). We've given you some ideas of what you can do. That's what you asked for. Experiment around with shapes and masking tools with the text you have. Fonts, placement and stuff. A logo isn't really something off a 5 minutes work. Work your way from paper, then to photoshop(illustrator recommended). |

I am asking about how to do a technique, not if you will do it for me. I want to know how/if I can take an image, and make a selection in the shape of an R?C tuck and then somehow merge them to where the Banned logo is skewed/morphed into the shape of the selection. Why am I getting nothing but rude replies from this forum? Some og you guys were nice and gave kind suggestions and some of you were just downright rude and I am sorry if I am not a professional graphics designer and I don't know how to do everything. Isn't that the point of a forum? To learn new stuff and improve?

They seem rude at first, but they're just being as helpfull as the next guy. I like the idea of figuring a certain ammount out for yourself. I don't think there's any real good text morphing tools in photoshop (PS gods, correct me if I'm wrong), so I would recommend maybe doing something else. Something else: Have the banned logo stamped over a truck. After all, I believe it's supposed to be a stamp anyways. You could do this with layer styles, and custom shading. Would look pretty cool. |

I apologize if the reply came off as rude. Just stating my opinion. Like I've mentioned, use the selection and masking tools with the text. Make a selection over the text, mask away so you can "morph" the text into the desired shape. Here's a tutorial you can start with : http://teamphotoshop.com/photoshop/tutorials/techniques/selecting/selecting.php Alot of photoshop techniques are actually experimental. There's no right or wrong. |
