project for school

this is for school.

I want to get that kids book type of feel to it.

i'm thinking that I need some kind of a border or something.

any suggestions welcome.

Looks very bland, I think a border would look good. Not much... just a simple border.

Perhaps one of the best examples of illustration I have seen in ages. A big statement (trust me I am not want to heap praise on the unwarranted) but it's true. You have encapsulated the look and feel of the subject matter, without compromising the overall feel of the piece.

I could go all art wank over this (probably unwarrented) but, it's illustration at it's finest. Simple, with an uncomplicated objective.

part of the problem is that I'm supposed to use 2 layer masks, and 2 adjustment layers.

I've used one of each. I figure the border will be another layer mask. But I have nothing else to use as an adjustment layer.

the knee fold on the guy's right leg is too deep. everything needs to be shifted up and left a bit.

that illustration is very nice... the rest isnt too outstanding.

Shift the colors with a Hue Saturation layer.

yeah, I'm already using that as a layer mask.

after I get a border on there, I'll just need one more adjustment layer.

Any suggestions?
