Know that...

Smoking kills

*edit*
This is the quality that I actually wanted.

But I still can't seem to find a way how to get this without taking a print screen and then putting it in to photoshop and then saving it.

Nicely done, thought the hair and eyes look a little odd.

Hi snivlem...
I just asked Iamolympic.com the same question today because I never knew how you were suposed to make it.

this is what he answered....

(This is of course done in Illustrator.... )
Sure, its not as hard as you think it is... first draw your line or shape... it doesnt matter, as long as you have a line then you can apply a dash pattern to it. once you have the line that you want choose it and then go to the stroke toolbar (F10 or go to window > stroke). now on the bottom of the little toolbar you will see a check box called dashed line. check that and now you will have a dotted pattern assigned to your shape, line or whatever.

now once you have the dotted line you can manipulate what the dashes look like. in the little boxes under the check box you can put in the length of the dash and the length of the gap, so you can create custom patterns... just play around with that and you will figure it out.

So it's actually not that hard...and that's why I had to try it out...

snivlem: I think you can also achieve the same dotted line effect in Photoshop using Paths and tweaking the default brush. Just set the spacing for the brush to something large enough so there's enough space in between each individual brush mark, and then stroke the path.

Smoking kills but it all ends with some nice [beige, tar-stained] hearts. :D
