This is in the Digital Art Showcase because as far as I'm concerned, I'm done with it. But there are a couple things I might change if I think it'll make it better. This is something I made a painting of last year. I started it in PS late last year as well. I stopped it because of not having time. So I brought it up and finished it yesterday. It sort of has that 'cell shaded' kind of feel to it but that's not intentional. A couple of issues with it: I was debating on whether or not to make the foreground more 'painterly' like the background but decided to leave it like it is now. I don't really like the color of the lamp but it was late last night so I just said 'F it'. and finally, I think I need to crop the left side a bit. It seems like there's too much unused space. any comments welcome. still life |
