Don't know what i might use it for yet it was just a picture i have of my band member and i did somethings to is and thats what came out...

the photo is really grainy. really hurts the whole piece.

yeah its fairly grainy....almost like you scaled a low quality pic waaay up.

Its ok. I think some color/contrast would make it look better (lower left). And you could try to clean up some of that noise....but that might be a fairly difficult task.

Try copying the picture layer, adding the median filter (setting probably no more then 2) and adjust the opacity accordingly. That should help make it look a little smoother. It will blur it slightly, but it's amazing how you can improve a grainy photo just with the Median filter.

Old trick I picked up from a pro.

thanxs spectra that median filter is really good, i took a low quality pic and did exactly what you said i just played around with the setting. Thanxs i didnt even know what the median filter did, now i read about it a little and its quite helpfull.

yeah i did take a photo with a 72 res. and kicked it up to a 300... i'll try that out and post up what coms out...

Would help if the lighting was better and the quality was better. Good idea though.

the shot is definitely a cool one. the low quality of it ruins it though. agree with everyone else

I also don't like the john woo "paycheck" font you used... not digging it. fine color, just not digging the italics or aynthing.
