This is a poster i am making for a rollerblading competition.....

just wanted to know what you think really.... i need to put some pictures in but i cant think of how they would look best? any ideas?

that sure is alot of text for a poster... people usually wont stay and read all that. its a poster not a book =) keep it simple and straight to the point, with only neccessary information/text.

Agree with redeye, no-one will want to read swathes of text. Make it big bold and simple.

thats just a content filler.. there wont be nearly that much text on it....

well dont fill it if its not going to be filled, you can judge things without seeing what it really will look like.

Well it does not remind me in any way of rollerblading and there is not much design to it.

every single element on a page/poster/anything is part of its design, with that in mind you designed a poster block of text in the middle and put some swirls on the corners, for a poster it does not work. You really have to fix that text block if you want us to really critique your work.
