How is this for a splash page?

I was wondering if this design is too simple for a splash page? Just something I put together...I was aiming for professional and simple yet attractive.

I hope you just use the splash image part instead of the whole jpg. Btw, I think saving it as a 128 color gif will reduce the size also.

Looks good. Has a 3d render feel to it because of the top and bottom outsets and shadow. Nice work!

Thanks. Haha yeah that is just the PS file saved as a jpg...it won't look like that in the site. It also will be a gif when i incorporate it into the site too ;)
