that's some great work on that one. i like the darkness and specially all the stains, marks and torn edjes. the blood looks very well done. the only thing that i might suggest is to work on the shadows for everything. right now the knife and the photos look like they're just floting in space and not really on anything. great work though.

um....contrast comes to mind! Just because its "dark art" doesnt mean it has to be dark. Decide which elements play the most vital role, and find some way to distinguish them from the rest. The composition at the moment is somewhat boring. Nothing is catching my eye or instructing me on how i should be looking at the picture. Your the story teller, so tell it like a story, dont just present the user with the book. (and the book i mention and the book you made are not related...just to clear up any confusion)
