hey i was wondering what everyone thought I should do to this picture, I am not done yet, i still need to add a quote to it, but I haven't found the right one yet . . . well, any comments? determination |

I like it man, looks really nice and thats a good job with the blendings modes. it doesn't look like much (in the sense that i dont know what the heck it is). although its pretty nice. add that one to your portfolio for sure man :D |

Changing the blending modes made the colors look very cool, I love that shade of blue, and the purple matches it. The image, matches the word which I don't see alot! Good work! I have one problem with the image. You have the explosive DETERMINATION image, blasting outwards, and then...you have the soft...gentle...flowing handwriting of a gentleman at his study at the bottom. Get another font, something that looks strong and explosive.

tone down the brightness? then the effect of the layer blending is gone! if you check out http://www.thehorusproject.com you'll find a lot of GREAT wallpapers with some kind of the same brightness.. I like it, could you explain a bit how you get that bright effect with the layer modes? guess I still need a lot to learn about blending modes :( |
