a while back my friend and I made some sketches for a flash cartoon we were gonna do... i think i might try to actually do it now. ![]() so here are the characters. a bomb, a lit match, and a bucket of water. What do you think of this? http://supahsekzy.elivy.com/stuff/sgw.jpg P.S. Yes I know I cheated and used the flame from my Job passage pic xD does anyone have any advice on how to make a flash animation of the flame of the match burning? |

Solid colors would probably look best; try to avoid anything that might require brush strokes. And for flames, just light a fire somewhere and watch how the flames move, and just use solid block colors, possibly black outlines. The actual Flash animation, however, I can't help you with. Oh, and chrome sucks btw. ;) |

thanks. moo, does that mean i shouldnt use shading? or if any, very minimalistic? One color shiz? and by chrome i assume you mean the bomb. it's just supposed to be black with white highlights. should i just make that one solid black too? edit. http://supahsekzy.elivy.com/stuff/sgw.jpg Check those for solid colors - ignore the flame, still gotta figure that out |
