so do you do an outline at a 10% view or what? Where would you start with a canvas that big?

also, I know you were joking about the cheating thing but hey, even the old masters did that with that reflective tool thing. Knowing that has taken a lot of pressure off me. There's no way I could paint anything realistically without something like a projector.
I have trouble making straight lines with rulers.

I use Win XP Pro with a two monitor system and Photoshop. The top monitor has all my resources (palletes, etc) including a large Navigator window that always shows the whole picture while I am zoomed in and working on the bottom monitor. The Navigator windoe refreshes in real time, so I always have a good idea where I'm at with the whole composition.

wow woo, your "stuff" is amaizing your site i spend hours looking through all your illustrations great skill man, congrats, your set up is cool thats what im working on two screens i have the video card just need my second flat panel now. love you site i have it bookmark now.

The navigator window can be made as big as possible on any one screen.
