Shop Logo

Well heres a shop logo my graphic partner did , do you guys see anything wrong with it? I just don't know if I like the glow around the letters...what do you all think?

Its a nice banner, but it isn't a logo really... Goodluck getting that printed!
As a header for a website or something, its great. The beveled text doesnt really do it for me.

Logos are supposed to be simple. Try using one or two colors, less obtrusive text, and an outline of a car instead of a car.

Thats what the customer wanted as a logo. Yea I think the bevel isn't too good either,I will try it without that and the glow and see how its looking.

maybe some detail on the car right now it looks like its out of a comic book with that black version.

Scale it down to 1"x1" and see if it looks good. Thats my rule of thumb for logos - they must look good 1"x1". And I don't think that one will because it has too much detail and small text. Maybe isolate the car and that can be a logo, then there can be another form with the text and everything, and then a third form with the colors and airbrushing. But it took me way too long to figure out what it said - Im not sure if thats a problem for you or not, but its not all that clear to figure out.

You have atalented friend, but there is some parts not fitting just right.

airsuspension.com, is not visible enough in the colored version, much is happening, and you only have a split socund to see the logo in "realtime". So the information must be highly visible and not disturbing for your eyes., tell your friend to maybe change the color or move it down or something???


And the B/W version is all to messy, you don´t know where to look.
