http://64.65.28.187/ I saw it somewhere else a long time ago and tried to reproduce it. Is this technique used on other sites alot? |

yeah man that looks cool. I havent seen much of it. BTW: try to post your graphics in the digital art section, you'll probly get more of a response there. |

Yeah, it's a pretty common element. If you go around and look at a lot of design sites, you'll see it.

yeah, that looks pretty cool. though im not sure how you would use it in your site but if you could use it nicely that would be great. by the way with what program and how did you make that?

I'm pretty new to this graphics art stuff. How do you create designs like the one your showed us? What programs do you use. I have photoshop 6 but that is about it.

the programs that you use to make things like that are 3d programs. im not an expert whatsoever at them but i'll tell you what i know. you can use programs like 3d studios max, or cinema 4dxl, (there are a dozen of them i could name) and they vary on what they can do.... some create 3d characters, some render 3d things, etc. so if you want a 3d grahpic like taht one you are looking at 3d studio max, or cinema 4dxl.

it's pretty cool... i've seen a lot of that around though. ---> mr. Danforth, you can make that image in photoshop too. Just play with the wave-filter i guess. |

I'll look into that man, yours look pretty sweet. so should i play around with the wave filter? or is there more to it.... anyone know a tutorial of some sort that could give me an example.
