Tell me, basically, you just open up a picture in Illustrator and draw over it with the pen tool? Or what, a quick description/tutorial would be great. I'm thinking of trying some vector with the wacom or mouse or whatever.

all but the funky biplane are pictures. Yes basically you just draw over it with the pen tool. heathrowe has a very good tutorial if you're really interested
