Hey- so my yearbook staff ran into this kid who refused to get his picture taken, telling us only after we put space for his picture in. I've had to photoshop it immensely. Check out the original-ORIGINAL And here's what I have so far.DOCTORED This will be much smaller, it's at 300 dpi. How can i make it look more like a regualr senior picture? |

Wait, so you have a picture of this kid and he doesn't want it in... but then you're taking his picture and messing with it in Photoshop? Why?

cuz we sent those pages to our publisher. to take his picture out would cost us money we don't have. we convinced him to let us take his picture, becuz he refused to go to a proffesional (after telling us he already had).

I dont quite understand the whole situation....but why not just put a white sqaure in the space where his pic will go with the text "Image unavailable". Most year books list unavailabe pics already (though usually at the bottom of the page). Also try searching the net for year book pics and see what ideas can come from it. I know if it were my picture....and your current doctored photo was in the book.....id be extremely angry. (not to be mean.....but thats gonna take a lot of work) |

yeah the whole situation is complicated but what can I do to make it better? also, it looks a lot better smaller (let me upload that)... Smaller Version and by the way- the kid knows he won't be getting a great picture. he came in for the photo shoot with a pimp stick and an alligator skin jacket. we convinced him to go with the suit coat. this is the only picture we could convince him to smile for. he's the typical.. i hate you because i like being rebellious. |

I don't see a problem with the original. Maybe tone down the brightness and up the contrast.

Give him a unibrow, it's the new "tough-kid" trend to have a unibrow. Infact, don't bother asking him about it, do it as a surprise ![]() |
