I took these 2 weeks ago west of las vegas at red rock national park. I wish I could've gotten a photo of the deer that ran out in front of me, but I was too busy crapping my pants trying to miss him! boosted the saturation a bit on this one for accuracy. Red Rock Sunset straight out of the camera. Only thing I altered was resizing it for the web & a little unsharp mask. Red Rock Cliffs feedback? |

I really like the Cliffs shot, gguy. The depth of field and contrast in colors are captured nicely. Were you using a sky filter, cause the only thing I notice is that the sky is washed out, unless it's not blue out there in Nevada... :D

thanks guys. nice to get some feedback. i think that was just a dull sky moment in the cliffs shot, I waited for the sunset and got lucky on the colors and clouds in the other shot - not very blue skies here lately, being winter and all. Believe it or not, it's cold as hell here the last few weeks (meaning like 30 - 50 degrees - :D) |
