So, I picked the name, bought the domain, got the hosting but don't have a logo. Here are some simple sketches: http://www.freewebs.com/stk15/sketches.jpg Let me know what you think. |

I think Dr Dre and PaavoPerkele will both be disapointed. Although two competing Astudios would be hilarious. Do it man, do it.

They are all fairly drab and naff, to be blunt. Even if you go with one of your concept sketches, under no circumstance use that catchline, "This is the millenium of Aftermath", it makes me cringe and sounds really cheesy. The first sketch is reminscent of Star Trek's symbol. The second looks like every other arial/helvetica closely kerned logo with the first half of the word one colour the latter another. The third logo is indistinctive and bland. Fourth logo would only seem appropriate to a web business and wishing to pitch at solely a web audience. Number six makes my skin crawl and think of the bad old days of the late 80's and the tag line makes me want to vomit (as little offense meant as you can take) Of all of them, with development and clear structuring, number five has the most promise, even though it appears to be one of the simplest designs. |

Number five isn't a logo. It's part of the name above the other part. Why do you need to sketch that - would take 3 seconds in Photoshop. Number six is the only one that resembles a logo. What about if you link the A to the S at the point where there is the dotted line part. Kinda curve it up - maybe have 5 dashes? You're going to have to find a font for it that works, though. It might look nice. tom |
