Well first Ill start by saying im new to Photoshop, I have had it for 3 days now and still learning a lot. This is a header for a personal page I made just want some feed back on what you think would look good and what you think sucks on it.

I like the shape and form.

The colors are OK, as long as you keep those colors with the rest of the site

I dont like the bevel/emboss or drop shadow or something - isnt really working I dont think.

Sorry this isnt really helpful lol - where are you going to put the title?

Not sure yet I was kind of hoping for you help with that aspect. Dont worry about it no being helpful the thing I was really wondering was color.

Looks very good for only 3 days. I like the idea you had while making it, the shape is pretty cool on it.
