Ladies and gentleman, lets play "User Quotes". All contestants must do is match the three users, (mihai, telemakhos, supahsekzy) to their respective quotes found in the Exposed Rippers section. Let's play the game.

Quote 1:

rip his guts out, make him pay. the thief!

Quote 2:

that outrages me. And you can quote that.

Quote 3:

Yeah, he wants to be someone else!

First three people to correctly match the user to the quotes wins a cookie. The real winners here though, should be the three aforementioned users if they see the point being made.

Until you have cleared it with the owner of that illustration, you are stealing. There is no if's, and's or but's about it. Regardless if people complain or not about its use, it violates their wishes about the usage of their work. You like to brush it aside in this thread because its "no harm no foul", but everyone sure loves to use harsh words for the rippers posted on the forum.

That being said, I am also guilty of mis-using an image that's not mine. :rolleyes: So maybe I should shut up.

I think I said quote #3, as I say "yeah" a whole lot.

I emailed the dude a couple days ago, but no response...

In a number of his comic strips he directly attacks people who sue over, even blatant, copyright infringement. He even says that the art belongs to the masses, so I don't think a leftist socialist like himself would mind me using his character as an avatar.

Are you a big fan Telemakhos? I love that strip. I got the chance to meet him last year he came to my university (he's really cute, not that most of you guys would care lol). He's hilarious, I don't know if he'd mind or not, but did you get an email back from him?

I love The Boondocks. It's my favorite comic strip ever, as I can relate to Huey on many levels.
