After seeing paavos study on shoes.... i thought i would have a go.. i am really pleased with this as it is the first sort of vector i have done without any guide pictures :D

its actually pretty good..

it needs depth though.. paavo has shadows and highlights, which yours need badly.. youre also missing the stitches .. but a good start..

i tried putting some stritches in..... but i used the pencil tool and they came out all ugly.... any ideas how to improve the stitches / make some ?

used a dashed stroke combined with the pen tool perhaps
