Well guys, I am really heavy into paintball and a team heard about me persuing my graphics hobby and asked if I would like to make them a logo for thier jerseys and sticker logos for thier markers. I said yes and went to work. Here is a rough draft of which I am planning on making them, C&C please! The team name is IMPACT and those are thier colors. I wanted to make them something cool and patriotic at the same time. JERSEY LOGO - STAR LOGO HERE MARKER LOGO - BANNER HERE C&C Away, everything is accepted because I am new and learning. Give me some tips, and some ideas for this logo. BY THE WAY, THIS IS MY FIRST LOGO ATTEMPT! |

On the 1st one nice concept but lose some of the beveled oh and on the 1st one where the boxes are around the 'impact' they are not evenly spaced Overall I think it would look a lot better without the boxes and the lil skewed sphere. Also lose the drop shadow The second one I like but the 'paintball' font could be changes You don't have to take my suggestions. But hey, thats just me :D |

Okay, well sometimes images are big and mess up the main forum table and make it all uglyish and second of all some people on 56k (shudders) or even lower (shudders even more) will have the poo slowed out of their browsers. Thank you for chainging the images to links though. And now I shall comment! :D. Okay on the first one, try to stay away from so many styles and stuff or it will interfere with the graphic itself sometimes, but it is pretty good since you have just started with Photoshop. The second one is okay, but I would try and stay away from so many jagged edgest on the text, try checking in the box at the top when the text tool is selected, the box with the two lower case a's in it, check the drop down and check around to see which of those styles best suits your font, it looks like you may have it on none, which I don't reccomend doing unless you are simulating what a font will look like on a website in a content area or something. Also, if you aren't doing the images in vector I suggest making them huge so they are easily sizeable for printing. Enjoy your (hopefully lengthy) stay here. - Mark Now that I read this again I realize that there were two different people here, well, you can still figure it out. I didn't really mess anything up, just wanted to say enjoy your stay to both of you. |

Anti-Alias the second one, and get rid of all those bevels on the first one. Try to make it blend more.
