Can only be two colors - background and another solid color. Going to be darker blue and shiny silver - a special color thats reflective and kinda like tin foil.

You can check out the different things I've tried out there. Any C&C? Suggestions?

I like the logos a lot - did you make those?

I like the number 2 cover best
I have to say though that the blue you chose is exactly the shade of blue I like least (reminds me of the creen of death)...but that's just me

nice nevertheless...

So #2 looks like a CD even though it doesn't have the hole in the center? I think that #4 looks the most realistic, but can I have the logo and still have people think its a CD at first glance...? It has to be very recognizable - and thats more important than the logo on the front. And the logo in the center there - its slightly distorted. Should I keep it like that or make it the normal oval shape?

No - I didn't make the logos. They are the generic school logos. I vectored the ship one (from bitmap), but the other one I got vector from the school.

wait a minute - you said 2 colors only - but can you use white? - I mean - what will you print on?

if you can use white - the color of the paper... why not make the cd a block of color and add a vector reflexion on it - with white - I mean with nothing - just leave a hole in the page.... and you could also write some small letters on the CD - you know - some have serial numbers and such written on the inner edge - or make the whole CD white ....and add an outline - or a reflexion in silver - it would be more realistic I think...

It's a blue book. And then there's silver ink or paper or something on it. No white. Sorry... :D
