1. http://trhaynes.commscentral.net:8000/img/cdspinning.jpg Yeah it took me 5 minutes - I was just fooling around. Warning: do not click if you dislike images with pointless text. 2. http://trhaynes.commscentral.net:8000/img/yearbookcdproject.jpg This is the equivalent of "brainstorming" or "sketching out an idea". There's no concrete assignment yet or anything, so this isn't really finished. I'm doing this for yearbook, and was wondering how realistic it looks to you. What can I do to make it look more realistic? Keep in mind that any small imperfections you see now will be amplified in the final version (which is much larger), so... tom |

The first one is cool. But I would take the blur out of the text. Have some contrast. The pic can have the motion blur on it, but keep the text sharp. I think you overworked it in that regard. The second one. Grab your clone tool or the healing brush and clean up that table. There is no shame in cleaning up crappy little marks everywhere. I know you just started, just don't forget. ![]() |

I love the first photo. Def. worth 5 minutes of time lol. You should start a whole "spin" series. See what kinda effect u can get on film from spinning random objects er something haha the second one...eh. I agree bout the cleanup but i think u can let it slide a few times. |

The theme of the yearbook is music. So that might be part of an image on a divider page - like before the sports section. It was really to show the yearbook crowd by skills with photomanipulation - just posting here to make sure that the quality was good before showing them. After working on something for a while you don't really see the flaws anymore, for some reason. tom |

The dust on the table really doesn't bother me. One suggestion for the CD number you have there is instead of 8654-02, put 2003-04 or whatever year this is for.

wow, that's a good idea. and about the words on the cds, I thought at first they were really on the cds, so that's probably the best compliment I can give your photoedit :D |
