Im actually diggin the marker. The highcontrast & motion blur present a lot of possibilites for you to work with.

The 2nd...not bad. What i would do is do a little color correcting...then overlay the whole photo with a yellow color..erase some of the scan lines (not all...leave some for contrast) and blur parts of it with the blur tool. That would give it a warm kinda classic look. But thats just my idea.

I say take both...and develop them further. They r a nice start!

Rodder454 - If you like the high contrast and motion blur, then you'll probably like the rest of the stuff that I scanned in. The parts close to the scanner were nice and sharp and the parts farther away were blurred or motion blurred. I actually didn't edit the marker at all, except to add the text on it. Did you notice that? Maybe I'll upload some more scans - I went scan-crazy the other day, after reading an article about using your scanner as a camera. I havent gone that far (as to hold it up and take a picture of something) but I'm getting there. :D

The picture - it was a yellow color to begin with and maybe it should have been kept that way. I don't really like the scan lines - and I might try a little blur if I feel like fooling around some more.
