Some advice for a poor pathetic lifeform...

I have been using Photoshop for about a year almost. Yet, I'm nowhere near as good as a lot of you are. I've looked at tutorials, and practiced.

Yet, it takes me forever to make a good website layout and graphic. I feel dumb and uncreative :( .

Any tips or suggestions? Here is a website I'm trying to work on...

hey man. first of all, u don't need to say things like that about yourself. that will only slow u down. besides, u're only 16 and i'm proud of u for reading toutorials and at least wanting to learn the program. i've been designing for 6+ years now and i still feel like i suck compared to the big dogs. just observe other people's work and see how u can learn from their styles. capture their designs, examine them down to the finest detail and see if u can recreate it with your own personal touch. but keep experimenting with the program, play with masks, layer effects, gradients and do photo manips to start with. just don't give up and keep coming back for comments.

Hey man, i feel the same way. Us n00bs have our moments of creativity, but for the most part it's all about learning the techniques, THEN we can start flexing our creative muscles.

Just play around in PS7 for at least an hour a day, and you'll be on the road to pro-dom in no time. ;)

stormtroopers definitley came from russia dude

George Lucas based them off of the stormtroopers that Hitler used. Russia never had any, if I remember correctly.
