Seeing the originals would be helpful. I have to agree with .02 about the darkness on the left. Although, with the lightsource coming from behind the buildings on the left, there's not a lot you can do with it and "keep it real". And I guess I'm missing "the sign", as well. What are you trying to say with this picture?

lose the text, what I am seeing here is you are using the text to display how you feel or show others how they should be feeling. Let people reflect on this peice without the text and I feel it will be much stronger. Either that or play around with some other styles of type, I can see you are trying to go for a very elegant look but the current typeface is not helping. Keep up the good work.

Other than that it´s nice, you could maybe make the whole picture in to one or 2 colors ?
