Ok. Critique time.. I think it's crap. No offense. You've been here a while, and you're not a photoshop nub. You can take it. :P

You've gotta keep usability in mind (is that a word?) But just imagine how impossible it will be to read text of any color on the checkerboard pattern. The antialiased text is hard enough, how much more for the actual html text?

The whole thing is nothing but a checkerboard pattern and the checkerboard pattern is VERY distracting to the eye, probably because of the sharp contrast (white to bright red). It also gets very monotonous, it could use eyecandy very much.

Just... I dunno. Back to the drawing board, I guess.

i dont like it, its to long the text isnt incredibly readble,
and the colors seem a bit bland,

i luved ur old site i thought it was the right size and wicked surrounding,

I don't like the new layout at all. Your old one was cool, this looks like something you threw together in 5 minutes.

uh - yeah - the checkerboard does hurt the eyes man...
think how regular text will look on that... don't change your old layout - I love the cherry/ruby coloured things in it...

ah! that background is way to distracting. at least lighten it up more in the areas where the text will go.
