But I'm not al together satisfied with it, so I would like some constructive crit here...I think I missed out on the perspective and the selection, what d'ya think...?

That's really nice. Would be nicer if the shades were darker and the man was the real color of skin. It's too "blue-and-white" now. Also, about the selection around the sunglasses, I hope you used a layer mask. Then you can edit the selection to your hearts content. With this one it would be OK to blur the layer mask a little I think, to get rid of any jaggies.

Ok, Trhaynes and Cbros, thx for the replies, and

1. That is a valid opinion and I agree. The problem is that the pic was b&w from the start, and hue/saturation choice here pretty much covers the hole face in one color, you know...What should I do instead...?

2. Of course I used a layermask ;) And I'll try editing the selection there, don't think I even thought of that, hehe...

1. Hue/saturation should work I think. Just get a nice peach color. Either that or try a color overlay on "overlay". The glasses should be black, though, not skin-toned or blue, so you'll need a seperate selection for that.

2. Yeah edit the layer mask. You can even apply filters to the layer mask, and brightness/contrast, blur tool. (Almost) everything applies. Try it out.
