I like it overall. One word of caution (and I realise there was no intent) but the logo symbol reminds me of Symmantec's logo. Having said that you have applied your own style to it and replicated it with gradients etc... so please don't think I saying you were 'inspired' So in short, yeah I like it, the font is nice and clean in a fresh way, only thing I might be tempted to change is the drop shadow/reflections - they might look more natural offset to the right a little. |

The problem with this, is that you can't charge top dollar for it. What you now have, is a template, not a custom solution for a company. Logo's command a high price, but it won't if they see it, like it, and take it. This is because there was no personal interaction to actually have a "custom" job done. Technically, it also lacks. A few questions: 1.Will this logo work at all sizes? (Very small? Huge? No because the gradients and drop shadows won't work) 2. Can it be scaled infinitely without losing quality (It's done in PS, therefore it can't) 3. Does it look good in black and white? (No, too many gradients, colour variations, etc.) These are just a few points. What you have is something that looks pleasant, but is not neccesarily a logo. Here are a few links to read that may help you out. There are lots of people out there making logos that just wont last. Hopefully, you can correct yourself a bit. Keep in mind, these are only my opinions. Again, compared to 90% of the work out there, this is sound. However, maybe studying logos a bit more may help you. http://www.webpronews.com/wpn-26-20030729GreatLogosandWhy.html http://desktoppub.about.com/cs/logos/ |

yea very good points indeed. But lol I wasn't actually making this for a business really. I dont think I intented to. The text companyname.com must of thrown people off making them think it was intented for a company. But i was just making this logo for any regular site out their who wants it.
