business card/logo check...

hey guys, below is a link that has 3 different business cards i have designed along with my logo... let me know which card you like or dont like, what you think of the logo, and any suggestions you may have to help me improve what i got... thanks in advance...

[edit] oh, i will probably make the back of the business card all dark brown with the webaddress across it in white or light brown.... which font do you think i should go with for the back- the JMdesign font or the Studio font.... let me know...

I like 2 and 3. I actually prefer 2 more...i think it breaks up the space nicely and has a more balanced look.....but it depends if you want ppl to turn the card so they canr read your info.

Obviously I can see no intention to copy, but the flame motif that you have designed is almost an exact match of the eponymous Pixelsurgeon (Jason Arber et al). I could only see a problem if you singled the flame out for use as a 'catch or sig'.

I might be tempted to stroke the white lettering to give them more definition, especially when smaller. Love the fleur de Lys background.

Overall I like the second one best, because of it's braver and more contempory placing of the details on the right of the card.

Good work though.

ahhh, thanks for pointing out the issue with the stroke, woulda forgotten to do it before i sent it to the printer.... thanks for the help/critiquing so far...

let me ask this.... do you guys think design 2 would look better on a matte card stock or better on a glossy card stock? let me know...
