Looks cool to me. I really like how you did the text on the bottom one - it looks like a proffessional commercial or ad, almost makes me think the words are scrolling across the screen (dunno why).

I like both of them, but like the second one better, the first one looked too much like alien to me lolz

How do you get the random feel? Does it start with a photo or is it all from scratch? I'd love to see the layer palettes on those two.

Exactly! Even though it isnt an alien. It isnt anything @ all. And it has no meaning either. The idea is it "mimics" things..in your case an alien. In my case it looks like chinese...or a sume' painting. Thats how alot of designs are. There isnt always a deep meaning....but there is always something we can relate to.

How do you get the random feel?

Photos. I grab a couple photos (whether they are something i want to use...or just have good texture/composition) and just mess with them. I usually play with layer modes and ever command in the edit/image menus lol. Then after messing with them for a while...I might see a shape I like or an effect. So then i single out that part (get rid of the rest of the image) and build off that by experimenting with some more photos.
