Ooooo... Ah.... :p So cool, great job to both of you on that collab., looks great. I don't mean to be nitpicky or something, but I think maybe it'd look better if the gunfire/re/orangeness part covered the rest of the line drawing, if you can see what I mean... There's still some space that looks like it was intened to be colored in for the gunfire... None-the-less it looks wonderful as is:D . |

I'm gonna nitpick about the position of the guy. his posture is very weird. First thing off is that the torso of the guy seems to be set at 90 degrees to the waist and legs, which, if you've ever managed to do without killing yourself (this of course being impossible), you know it's very uncomfortable. the left foot is more in the foreground than the right foot, and the right foot is set at a very painful angle.. looks more like a ballet pose than one for killing people. The gun itself is also only held by one hand. Dont you think he should be holding it with both hands? It seems like a very large, very heavy, and very damage-inflicting gun, complete with a huge ass recoil that will knock your socks off. it should be more supported, either by the otherhand or maybe by one of those shoulder rest things, or something. The guy's back looks more like it belongs to a snake, considering the position he's holding with it and the position of his waist. Finally, the guy's left hand - the one in the background - looks more like a robotic cow's udder than anything. Otherwise, the picture is very nice. the inking is very cleanly done, and the coloring is great. I just think that the pose is very strange. I know that you guys (well Paavo at least) are fans of very abstract works of art, but this i think is taking that a little too far, especially since the character is a human shape and humans can understand the pain that you would go through to take this position. He's like a soldier/contortionist. Otherwise, nicely done :D |
