eye drawing...need C&C

this is a drawing I did with half mouse/half graphire2..just want to know what you think. I know it's blurry and the shading isn't remarkable...but it's the first thing like this I've ever done. any C&C welcome.

I'm not expert, in fact, I'm the opposite, but I like it . I'm assuming it's the person's left eye, 'cause that's what it looks like :p , but the shading to the right of the eye (to the right meaning on the image to the right, for the person it would be to the left I guess) seems a bit dark to me. But that's just my humble opinion. And the eyelashes could use some work, but I wouldn't be the one to ask how, some of the eyelashes look good though, like the ones on the bottom right (of the image view) seem good...to me that is (again I'm much more of a newb at PS than you are probably, so you probably know this already, but I find it helps me in various aspects of life to have people reaffirm my beliefs, so here are your affirmations :p .) I'd say you did a nice job on the eyebrow though, in general its good. Eye like it :p (I apologize for the bad pun ).

the eyelashes (as u'l already know :p) are aaaalll wrong :D lol

hehe. it's quite gd tho mate. one other thing, there's isnt enough emphasis on the eyelids. they just look like part of the face.
also add more contrast and "eye-effect" on the coloured bit of the eye (the lines from pupil to edge).

well I did use that tutorial, so that might explain it. I didn't just copy and paste and change some stuff though...I actually did it by hand. hehe...wasn't trying to rip it or anything though.

yeah but none very good...i'm only now really getting into it seriously. I did mess around a lot, and I have some cool vector stuff I did, if you want to see it. Aside from the vector stuff, not too much good stuff...but hey i've got at least a years worth of foundation in PS, and another ten years with computers in general, so i'm sure that'll help. thanks for the comments though :D .

hehe yeah I just got my wacom 2 days ago also :D. I have a graphire2...but i want a 6 x 8 intuos2. what do you have?

i've also got a intous 1 A4 oversized infront of me (smerks) but i aint got a pen for it :eek:

my dad works at a design sorta place (concrete buildin facias etc..) so he can bring these graphic tablets home :D

quick reply here, the chick is hot, the eye looks pretty good but needs some work, the 2nd pic with the chick and the car isnt as good as the other 2 and i think the pool table one is the best.
