I made a banner for a forum, the bottom part and the whole background

Great design, but I don't think I'd be able to surf a forum that dark. Just what I think though - I do love the barbed wire.

Maybe its my eyes but Im used to things being light. Rooms are lit and things are dark - not the other way around. I guess there are places with no lights and everything glows but as a rule thats not how life is. So dark on light is what my eyes are used to. I wouldn't use google if it was grey and white text on black. I like it because its white with open spaces for optimal functionability.

as a banner,m for me, it's too distracting.

look at the teamphotoshop banner, it's nice and not distracting.
