My new wallpaper and logo

just trying to establish a look and feel for my new little design venture. what do you think? this is the logo and desktop wallpaper I came up with.

hmmm. Its simple...not bad though. I think i would loose the whole widescreen look. If all you have is that one element...then there is no reason to frame it like that.(plus its been done millions of times over) It would look better if you just centered it (or something similar...).

Also...if you like the wide look....you could fill in the space with more of those little squares (pattern fill) and bump up the Text size. Just a suggestion.
