Shocking photo lol |

Inspired by Catscratch and the amazing thunderstorm photo. This i took with an old webcam. I put it outside my window and watched the thunderstorm on my computer lol. Then i clicked the "take photo" button and landed this pic. It scared the hell out of me!!!! Its was freakishly loud and very close. I only wish my digital camera could do this (Its too slow for lightning....and a long exposure only give me noise) This would hurt!! |

lol @ this would hurt So you saw the lightning and clicked take picture? Or was it a coincidence that you got a good lightning picture? Good picture. tom |

uh...kinda both. I saw the lightning so i immediately clicked...but i had no idea it looked like that lol.

Or, if your camera has a feature that enables you to keep the shutter open for 8+ seconds, u can click it and point it at a cloud that is active with lighting, and if lighting strikes during that 8+ seconds that the camera is exposing itself to the light, it will catch the image, it may even get multiple lighting strikes.
