These are really nice :D LoL what is that house doing out there :D Maybe I should try to get some nice night photos too... I'm just not that good at it... A little question. I know that cameras must have different "strength" of the flash but about how far can it take? |

I'm not sure :X you can get add on flashes that are like better than day light :D.. the flash on my camera is like a fecking strobe light :\ but if you wanna take some night time photo's turn the flash off and crank up the exposure time, make sure you hold the camera UBER still, or use a tripod.

"you can get add on flashes" lol.....i got the option of buying the Olypmus FL-40 (i think thats what its called)....it cost almost the same as my camera (damn thing is around $4-500 last i checked). The only problem with cranking the exposure is noise. Noise will just kill a good night shot. Although flash doesnt look that great in night shots either (too much contrast). Look on your camera...see if you have a setting for "Flash Intesity" and set it to a negative number (-2 most likely) also look for "Flash Slow" and if you have that option change it to "slow-2" (or similar). That way you get a little flash to give you a lighting "boost"..but it doesnt take over your whole photo like regular flash. That combined with exposure should give you a good photo w/out the noise. As to Zyco's pics......i like the fog and that weird house is the best!! The other 2 are good also. |

"my camera also has a night time setting" Lucky! I got Automatic...landscape..portrait..sport (i dont use those last 3) Aperature Priority and Manual. If i want anything other than automatic (like a night shot) i gotta set everything manual....manual ISO, Aperature, Shutter, Flash,Contrast,White balance .....etc.....its a real pain to figure out!!! |
