I need to get both a scanner and a printer and I want it to be, you know, professional quality. But like everyone, I don't want, or have, to spend a great deal of money. So I'm not going for great, too expensive, just good. If anyone can help, thanks!:D |

I haven't got any for you...But go search google, try those buy/swap sites out there, Ebay.com, on so on...Go used but check it, don' buy anything right away...Go to you local "hardware-" store to gaze at their oldies, they might come cheap...Just some suggestions... Hope you'll get there..

It's not professional, more like home office type, but I use the HP PSC750xi. Triples up as a flatbed-scanner/printer/copier. Color scans are quite impressive (I'd show you some if my webhost went back up). The only downside - it's too good it starts scanning all the lint that's on the glass. :] Detachable lid, A4 scan/copy size. I have a feeling the 700 series isn't manufacture anymore, so here's a link to the HPPSC2170 if you want to check it out. http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF05a/18972-238444-236260-12085-236260-90805.html |

i think the best printer is an epson 1280 or the epson 2200 1280 is better for color because of its super vibrancey (400$) 2200 is better for B&W because it has intechangable photo blackand matte black inks + archival prints (700$) for a scanner u looking for a film scanner? or just a general flatbed? Canon generally makes very nice scanners the reccomend hp above is what my grandfather has, the print and scan quality is poor generaly if one product does many things it does a fair job at all, but not a good job at any dedicated products will almost always be better |
