in mainstream advertising.. the net connection is usually refered to just the 'internet'.. you and i know the difference.. but it is more widely accepted the way it is... thanks mihai

haha - that reminds me - About 2 years ago I used to work for an ISP. So one day this nice, very old lady comes in with two 10 years old a boy and a girl - her nephews I guess. She asks me: "So, where's the internet?" - Uhh - I was taken aback a little - I didn't know what to tell her - I thought - yeah - I should tell her that the internet is actually a whole lot of computers linked together and it's not in one place so..., besides - it was an ISP not an internet cafe - which is probably what she was looking for in the first place... So I just shook my shoulders, smiled gently and told her it's not there... - there's an internet cafe two blocks away... - She points at the big sign above my head saying "Internet Service Provider" in large bold letters, throws me a murderous look and tells me: "I wonder why they hired you - you know nothing you stupid little punk!" and leaves with her two two nephews in tow....
