nah i know what he means, she's not chubby in real, tis cos i havent done the shading properly, most of the angles of all of the photos i've taken are from me underneath, which means her neckline is really hard to pick out...

"which means her neckline is really hard to pick out..." yeah that kinda threw me off. At first i thought her face seems a little small...but then i looked again and realized its just the angle. Maybe you could put more body in...or some kinda visual reference to compare to? Atlhough i gotta say its good angle. It creates "action"...kinda makes you wonder what she's doing (well we know what she's doin...she's sitting on you lol) but for someone who doesnt know that....its leaves quite a bit to the imagination. It definitely is not a straight on.. here is my drawing... boring angle!! Good work! |

nice work empty...do you trace a photo with the pen tool in illustrator or is it completely free hand? just curious, im quite into the style you are. unlike the others, i had no problem visualising the angle you drew. her face is tilted upwards, therefore it wont be a perfect oval. good work.

yeah its all turning layers on & off in illustrator, sometimes you choose the wrong bits of light and shade, on the last one i did (the wallpaper) i gave her like 3 chins cos i used same shading for the shadow below her chin as her chin... if you get me....
