no...dont know my birds but thats a bitchin photo. Howd you get that? Either massive zoom...or this bird isnt scared of anybody. I can never get a decent bird photo. Awesome work!

I shot this picture in an English arboretum (hope it's spelled right). Never got that close to a bird, it was probably used to people (and the camera ;-)) My camera has 8x optical zoom. Almost 300mm analogue. |

that makes sense. But still...thats a hell of a shot!!! Gotta love zoom huh?? I got 10x myself. Whats the chances you have an Olympus?? (judging from the file names of the pics) |

ah thats a nice camera. You know you got a good camera when its got a hotshoe and an electronic viewfinder. I dont think i could live without an electronic one lol. I got an olympus C-700 myself. Its like a pre-slr. 10x zoom and pretty much complete manual control...electronic viewfinder...external flash...etc. Its only 2 mp though (i dont print...only use photos for the screen/web) and it doesnt have a few of the advanced features (lens stabilizer for example..thats on the model above mine :-( )
