Hello I've been using photoshop for like 3 or so years now and i've got some skills but i can never apply them to a graphic to make it stand out and look nice. I have a bg i made while being very bored, i like it but i think it looks like a person who has used photoshop for amonth could of made. It's not finished i'd like some advice as to what i could do to add to make it look more than just a bg. Thanks. For some reason my server I use is down right now so I am forced to use my evil homestead account. So what can I do or add to make it look more than just a bg. I've drifted out of the graphics community for awhile now but i used to be known as ben aka icpboogieman some people might remember me from my massive posts on ezboards. Thanks for your time. |

To me it's really all too confusing. Your eyes wander while looking at the pic, due to it's high contrast, and almost random texture. I'd recommend trying to keep it down to a simple design.

I was actually going for the confusion type idea. I just don't know what else to add to make it more than a bg as i've always had troubles with never being able to make a decent graphic because i don't have much artistic visions.
