Yeah I kindof have to agree with spectra, I dont really like the "watermark" even if it was ment to be on the peice, I think its more of, like spectra said, a distraction from the original image. As for the blood, I have the same problem with my monitor too, not really sure what it is, everything looks find to me, it just turns out really dark on other peoples monitors/comps.

Other then the "watermark" and the green blood I think it looks great ;)

But I really like that image, the scissors are really well made and I like the grunge effect as well

especially this is made with one texture Turned grey, then a gradient map. copied the layer -> layer-overlay. Accentuated the contrast a bit. That's it.

in general grunge is made with cracked, rocky textures. similar brushes and fonts are good as well. look at www.misprintedtype.com there you'll find really good textures and stuff.
