It rained...and was really crappy outside so I thought it was a perfect time to take some photos (i really went to my mail box..but my trip got a little out of control and now I have 56 pictures lol). Here are 6 of the best. Originally they are 1600x1200. I can post bigger if anyone wants to see it. Settings (just incase anyone is interested) F3.5 1/80 Shutter ISO 200 Flash set to slow Flash intensity = -2.0 Photos |

Its an olympus C700-UZ. Its a little outdated (there are 4 upgrades of this camera just this year alone ) but its an awesome camera. It can go fully manual...so thats how i can get the great pictures!

Awesome pictures! I really like them all... the last one, the one with the red hue is great... no 3d rendered abstract crap can beat that. Really nice. I am looking into a cam, but can't find the money to buy a decent one right now. Sucks! |

Thanks! Actually if your looking into cameras...now would be a good time. 3 & 4 (almost 5) megapixel cameras are becoming mainstream...so prices are dropping dramatically!. My camera I bought last july for ~ $500. It can now be bought for as little as $300 (grrrrrr lol). My mother just bought a camera for $200 (same quality pics as mine...just doesnt have zoom/advanced features) and it was originally like $480. |

"They seem professional" Im starting to think the same way. I mean the same photos with color are great...but it just doesnt have as good as effect on the viewer. Maybe color distracts from the composition??? B&W more dramatic? i dont know....but something about them i really like. |

yes, I like black and white pictures, but it's harder to get a good effect with them. I really like those man. I miss taking shots of everything... I should do it again, even with my 20 year old pentax haha :P keep em coming! |
